Shop
Our vineyard shop is open weekdays 10am – 4pm and weekends by appointment. You can taste our wines before you buy and our alpaca wool is also for sale. Tickets can be bought for £3 for adults( children under 16 free) for our self-guided trails with information sheet; the ticket price can be redeemed against purchases.
Garden
In our walled garden you will find a kitchen garden, white garden and long herbaceous boarders. The non-native woodland of trees and shrubs beyond the canal leads to a native wood, planted in 2013 with over 2000 trees and shrubs. Climb the spiral path up the mound to a vantage point overlooking the garden and woodland.

Tours
We are open mid-week between May and September for guided tours and wine tastings in our Grade 1 listed barn. Group visits by appointment can be followed by a ploughman’s lunch or afternoon tea. Self-guided trails are also available with information sheets that can be collected from our shop

Great Lodge Alpaca herd
From our original herd of Lulu, Alberto and Apricot in 2012 we have had 6 crias. Lulu gave birth to Louis in 2013 and ‘Big’ Betty in 2015. We think after Betty she decided that enough was enough and has not got pregnant since! Apricot had Stevie in 2015, Jemima in 2017 and Peaches in 2020. Jemima had her first cria who was premature in 2020. We were not sure she would survive but due to amazing nursing by Taz she pulled through and so is named after her. It may be possible to help us feed the alpacas if you let us know when you are visiting.
